About
The title of the blog comes from my desire to be a servant leader and example of the love of Christ to the world. My home town is mentioned. As president emeritus of Toccoa Falls College I continue to strive to be an example of Christ’s love. The Lord has blessed me and has helped me to walk through challenges. I am blessed by His forgiveness and mercy.
I was born in Georgia and until my retirement in June 30, 2011 from the college, have been at Toccoa Falls College for twenty-eight years. My wife and I have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and six grandchildren. My wife is the the Chair of the Teacher Education Department at TFC.
I love the game of golf and for seven years coached the Toccoa Falls College Golf Team. My lowest score is 78 on a par 72 course. I have had 4 eagles in my life time but no hole in one.
I also am an Eagle Scout and as an Explorer Post Leader escorted ten explorers to Philmont Scout Ranch where we hiked around 125 miles and climbed Mount Baldy which I recall is 12,400 feet high.
My wife and I have traveled to Asia, Ecuador, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Australia, Costa Rica, England, and other locations within the 48 states.
